Native Americans that settled in Durham County were called the Eno Indians from villages of Eno Townand Native Americans called Adshusheer. The city was named after Dr.Bartlett Durham but the Adshusheer tribe were farmers in the area before the Europeans. Our Durham map earring honors the city of Durham but we also want to honor the Native Americans that lived in the area first.
